Planting seeds . . .
What is Planting seeds?
It's a hands-on, art/culture project in which anyone can participate. I designed a series of stickers
(see samples below) to "tag" fresh produce. A new crop of stickers will be available on a regular basis,
so check back often.
Why?
To capture the imagination, stimulate thought, rouse a chuckle from people engaged in a common,
mundane task: grocery shopping. And (why else?) to have a little fun.

Where?
WORLDWIDE. Click here.
We have planters in the U.S., England, Russia, Belarus, Germany, Canada, and Indonesia. In the U.S.,
look for us in San Francisco, Berkeley, New York, Portland, Denver, Philadelphia, Atlanta, New Jersey,
Idaho, and Austin. Look for us, and the fruits of our labors, in the produce departments of your local
grocery stores.
When?
The project launched in May 2008 and is ongoing.
Who?
YOU! (And me, my sisters, my brothers, my friends, their sisters, their brothers, their friends . . . )
How do I get involved?
Send me an e-mail and I will send you a packet of "seeds." Unless you make a special request, you will
receive an assortment of 24 stickers.
OR BUY A BUTTON FEATURING ONE OF THESE DESIGNS & SUPPORT A
NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION!
