Similar to Shopdropping, Greetings is a nationwide, public project in which commercial items are altered and recirculated.
Each participating artist began with a commercial greeting card, enhanced it with his/her creative vision, then swapped the modified card with another artist. These unique cards, with their edited sentiments, were then dropped back into circulation. Ten artists in three countries participated in this project during the summer/fall 2008.
