About this work These paintings, all oil on canvas, range in size from 8” x 8” to 24” x 24”. In this series, I am interested in the movement of organic forms, such as cells converging, pebbles cementing to form sedimentary rock, petals unfolding from the center of a blossom. I attempt to convey the changing relationships between entities, their gravitation, binding, suspension, dance, expulsion and repulsion within a confined space.
